Hey, it's Friday!

Yesterday was Thursday! Tomorrow is Saturday, and Sunday comes afterwards!

Question for the hivemind: I am taking my new suit to Scotland for my friend's wedding. What is the best way to transport it? Another friend is taking it with him in a garment bag as a carry-on, but because I'm going to be in and out of airports and stowing luggage in train stations and such, that's not really a great option for me. The width of the jacket is baaaaaarely less than the width of my luggage, which does have a zippered section specifically to keep things from intermingling with the rest of the bag, but I'm not sure how exactly to fold the sleeves and the pants. I've been told about the shower trick (hang the suit up in the bathroom and run the shower for half an hour), so that should remove any wrinkled once I get there. Should I do anything else to protect the integrity of my suit? I know it's not the optimal way to transport it.

Due to my relationship, I am now a non-practicing Discardian. (Although I try to practice in secret.)

I meant to tell you the other day. Jon was constantly bringing home "finds." Sometimes this is good. Gumbo is much easier to make on our commercial 6 burner gas stove, and we have a deep freeze. Sometimes it makes me fear that people who visit our house for the first time will think we're crazy people. Who just has a pachinko machine lying around? And why do we have a tv with most of the screen painted over? I do not believe that it is "art" no matter how many times he says so.

I would LOVE a pachinko machine! (I do, in fact, have magpie tendencies, too, but living with Tim has curtailed them severely.)

He seems to have stopped though and like, wants matching furniture and less clutter and stuff. So there is hope!

Sometimes I wish the house were bigger than 900 sq. feet, but then I realize it would just be more room for crap, because when you have more room, it's just a place to put more crap. So 900 sq. feet is good.

P-C, I usually roll stuff I don't want to wrinkle, but that might not be optimal for a suit.

Fold it carefully, and it should be OK, P-C. You can fold the jacket down the middle if need be.

Thanks! That's what I wanted to know, where the best place to fold it would be. Folding it down the middle should let it fit that way, although I may have to fold it lengthwise as well. The crease/wrinkle should be removed by the shower trick, though.
