Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

it was a printed E that was all curved like a cursive E

Aha. I don't think my handwriting says a thing about my upbringing, except that I was raised where cursive was mandatory and graded. But that might just mean I was old. At least one of my handwritings has curvy Es, but kinda like Σ, never with the full closed loop.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

My favorite Liza [link]

Right? JZ's high school friends used to watch that on a regular basis. She can still sing "Willkommen" for you.

Also, Christopher Isherwood said she was a better Sally Bowles than the real Sally Bowles.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I think ita needs to start a new site.

hee. Although what would it be? Men with Hats? Men on Bikes? Men with Puppies? Or would it need to be all three?

Oh dear, I just had a horrible memory of men with puppies gone terribly wrong.

WARNING: link is NSWF (probably not safe for keeping down lunch either)

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I don't think I've ever heard anyone pronounce borrow as "burrow".

I swear, that's how it sounds to me! Not quite exactly, but it's all mushy and sans O. Like Zenkitty wrote out.

How did Nathan say it?

Correctly.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It could just be Men with dogs.

Is that the Shar Pei shot?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Is it less terrifying when you know that Sara Ramirez is a Tony award winner for a musical, and apparently doing much of the singing?

That does help a bit. I sorta knew Chandra Wilson could sing, and was wondering if she'd be the one carrying the ep. I watch it at work, so getting terribly invested in it would be a tactical error.

Bad singing is not what I worry about when I think that idea can go south.

This. I suppose I'll have to at least try to watch it.

Ewan McGregor! In a hat! On a bike! WITH A PUPPY!

Do these phrases sound like an Old Spice commercial to anyone else?

I didn't click the link, and I'm betting it's the Shar-Pei Shot. (My college had a tradition of May Day gifts passed down from seniors to underclasswomen. I received a poster of the Shar-Pei Shot as a freshwoman; I was so relieved as a senior to pass it down to an unsuspecting innocent.
