Mal: Cut it out. Job's not done until we're back on Serenity. Zoe: Sorry, sir. Didn't mean to enjoy the moment.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Maybe I will attempt to be less scared of Natter now that there are fewer posts in it.

Until there are spontaneously a thousand more in about five minutes, that is.

Yay for new fridge (will it fit into your existing space?)!!

I only have about 6ft of built in counter space, the rest is free-stanidng shelves. Everything can be shifted...though I may try to rethink the whole arrangement.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

oh how much do I wish I could be there for space arranging. OH maybe if I can finish my knitting project today, maybe I will do some initial swapping out of seasonal clothes.

Librarian Warlord

msbelle, my DH had much the same thoughts about the baseball game.

ION, the floor is finally finished! Two weeks for what should have taken two days! Twice as much money as we wanted to spend!

It looks great, fortunately, so I don't have to kill anyone.

I just paid off a credit card. Balances still left on 2. progress, slow and steady.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Fridges fitting is important. When my landlord replaced my fridge, he picked one that cannot be opened all the way (the counter island blocks the door). One of the many things I hate about my kitchen.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

OMG, massive fail on the sleep meds yesterday. Just, fail.

You wish? I wish!

The complication now is that the date to pick up old fridge is two weeks after the new one is delivered. I may go back to Sears and see if delivery date can change. I'll probably have to put the old one in the living room until its picked up.

So after the market, I did the TJs and Target run, got home in time to head over to the marathon and cheer on the runners. Saw my friends who were running the half and got to cheer for random strangers. Note: at mile 22, runners REALLY are grateful for cheering. And this mile 22 is particularly brutal because it is a hill, probably one of the worst hills in the race. A favorite cheer was "You HATE this HILL! There's the top!" A lot of people start walking/stopping right after it. And, of course, collapsing. As I was leaving, a woman was being loaded onto stretcher.

At one point, I was standing next to a woman with a very popular sign. It got a lot of smiles. It read "Who needs toenails anyway?" A lot of bantering went on.
