Ginger, I should probably know this, but...do you/did you used to work in nuclear science?
So who else went "I love my classes/Got a crazy teacher/He wears dark glasses..."
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

on second thought, maybe I do need to be freaking the fuck out.
Ginger, you should be blogging somewhere and sharing your knowledge. Also, drumming up business. If you just took your posts here and cobbled them together into a guest blog, I'll bet that the Journal would publish it.
I'm not worried about radiation here. We didn't get any appreciable amount from Chernobyl, and the good thing about radiation is that you can't hide it. I'm just sick about adding this to an already horrendous situation.
I don't know if this makes any sense, and it's a tiny thing compared with people who have relatives and roots in Japan, but it's really a blow to me personally. I've put a lot of my life into this, and I've spent a lot of time with the people who work in nuclear plants.
I'd better go to bed.
It does make sense, Ginger, and I am sorry you are going through it.
Yes, thank you, Ginger. And I understand your anguish.
Thank you, Ginger.
Kathy, I hope they can get the filter out with minimal drama.
Knock, knock....anyone home?
Still cranky from the DST change. Slept ten hours last night, and it still took a Herculean effort to get out of bed this morning.
I woke up at 6. Again. Saw the Big Dipper. Apparently, I am DST immune.
