If every vampire who said he was at the crucifixion was actually there, it would have been like Woodstock.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

FYI for those needing/wanting to call Japan:

We imagine that many of you, like us, have been making frantic calls to friends and family in Japan over the last few days without regard to the costs. Now, in the face of otherwise devastating news, we have some good news to share courtesy of AT&T. Ma Bell is offering wired and wireless billing relief for calls made on AT&T between March 11th and March 31st. Under the plan, AT&T wireless postpaid customers will not be charged for international long distance or text messages to Japan from the US and Puerto Rico. Likewise, residential wireline customers can seek credits for up to 60 minutes of direct dialing to Japan.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Happy 3.14 baby, Nilly!

In honor of this happy day, Lucy Kaplansky singing her father's song about pi: [link]

3 1 41 Oh my, here’s a song to sing about pi.
Not a sigma or mu but a well-known Greek letter too.
You can have your alphas and the great phi-bates, and omega for a friend,
But that’s just what a circle doesn’t have – a beginning or an end.
3 1 4 1 5 9 is a ratio we don’t define;
Two pi times radii gives circumf’rence you can rely;
If you square the radius times the pi, you will get the circle’s space.
Here’s a song about pi, fit for a mathematician’s embrace.

Congratulations Nilly and DH!

It's so wonderful to hear some happy news from the world when so much sad news is everywhere.

I brought my pie into work, and the meringue sweat leaked all over me and my leather bag. It was a very sticky situation for a while.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

YAY NILLY!!!

Sue, you need a pie carrier.
