hip deep in pie

I accidentally bought some DVDs, because the Persuasion with Ciaran Hinds was on sale for $5.

Oh, how I love that movie.

But then I've weaned my self off a lot of things tha t have extra sugar in them ( why does peanut butter have sugar in it)

Peanut butter doesn't have to have sugar! I usually get the "simply jif" or something like that--which has peanuts, oil, and sometimes salt.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I haven't seen unsweetened dried cranberries, but I'm pretty sure the frozen cranberries I get are unsweetened, and I've gotten unsweetened cranberry juice before.

Eta: peanut butter with sugar in it is nasty. I always get Laura Scudder or Trader Joe's brands that are just peanuts and salt.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

trader joe's store brand of pb is just peanuts and salt. it is of the nom. also true for almond butter. i can't deal with regular grocery store brands of pb that add sugar and oil - uneccessary filler! Yuck.

brillig

This is one of the most fascinating maps I've ever seen, it tracks migrations to and from various counties. Some counties have huge transfers of population going great distances. In the same time frame, my little home county of Greene County, Pa, there on the edges of Applachia, has only a few people going barely one or two counties away. In most of the rural counties I checked, people don't go too far from where they were.

Oh, that's good news, Ginger.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Unsurprisingly, I loathe PB that does NOT have added sugar. If I want peanuts, I eat peanuts. But I am a sugar fiend.

I actually find I can't stand the peanut butter with sugar and such in it anymore, even though I was raised on it. It doesn't taste peanutty enough for me.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Also, while Trader Joes is wonderful, if you want peanut butter without sugar, and are in a regular supermarket you can probably find it. Often labeled "old fashioned" you can almost always find some kind of peanut butter with nothing but peanuts and salt. Safeway has a store brand of Old fashioned, and also one of the Pbutters in their organic line is just peanuts and salt. Plus there is at least one branded "old fashioned" available there. Again if Trader Joe's is probably better, but you know, nice to know you can get it most grocery stores. (I'm guessing that if Safeway has three kinds of something elsewhere will have at least one.)
