Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

for two glorious days of my weekend i had steel cut oats with a pinch of salt, crumbled veggie sausage, shredded super charp cheddar, and chopped fresh cilantro.

That sounds really good. Possibly it's time for dinner.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

That version of oatmeal actual sounds healthier than adding sugar loaded ingredients like maple syrup and dried fruit to a whole grain that is already pretty high in carbs.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Well, crap. I was feeling better this morning after the Advil kicked in, so I went to the con.

And there I lost my voice and now I feel lousy and I am at home with 200 lbs of hungry dog and a business trip this week and no sick leave accrued. This bites.

Why am I so sick this winter! Argh! I eat my vegetables and get my exercise and take my vitamins, and I even got a flu shot!

My diamond shoes are too tight!

I haven't tried it, but I think I want to do a savory added protein oatmeal - it might be the perfect food

dcp and msbelle - that is how it seems to work for me too. I'm just confused by their web site saying I've met my deductible when I haven't paid $3k myself.

I get EOB's that show the Doctor billed, say, $200, the contract rate is $75 and I need to pay that. But what counts against my deductible total? The $200 or the $75?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Anyone have any experience cooking wheat berries? Do I need to soak them overnight?

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I just looked at the ingredients for the md oatmeal -- there is a lot of artificial stuff I try to avoid, but if I am eating there...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm just going to say that, barring specific health issues, sugar is not evil.
