Wesley: I stabbed you. I should apologize for that. But I'm honestly not sure how. I think it'll just be awkward. Gunn: Good call. Wesley: Okay.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Scrappy, are you sure that Carmen isn't Mary Sue?

I KNOW. We had a good time doing "Do you know--" about NY theater peeps when she was working on the house. We had all worked with the same folks during that time. She's very talented and fun. Her girlfriend, Lydia, is also wonderful.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy birthday, tommyrot!

My weekend plans include working, coping with "Spring Forward", working again, and while at work, cutting someone's hair. I should mention that I am not particularly skilled at cutting hair, but the person has been steadfastly refusing to set foot outside the house for optional things like going to a salon. Her hair is at an unfortunate length for having to put on a winter hat to go to work; and, I have given competent (by which I mean, fairly even and not lopsided) haircuts in the past.

Oh, and I didn't even post about how outrageously insensitive and rude lisah's coworker was. I mean, really.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I don't think so, Kathy - I have that video set to "viewable by everyone" so it should be public!

(But if it's not, I can upload to Flickr instead.)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

AND the one person in my company whose presence I cannot abide was there and made a "joke" about people getting cancer and then getting married to get their spouse's health insurance.

It's so easy to find someone to marry between chemo treatments.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Happy birthday, tommy! You're much beloved, and we will all make sadface until you can contrive some way to be here all the time again, as is right and proper.

Aeryn is beautiful. She has the most absolutely, utterly, swooningly gorgeous, intent, thoughtful eyes for such a wee little boo! And the rest of her is all rolly, now.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Happy Birthday, Tommy! I'm sorry we will see less of you here!

As for me, I ran this morning and got my hair cut and now I'm paying bills and doing laundry.

I ran up in the hills and I was surprised to see quite a number of people gathered along the road up there, as though they were fleeing the tsunami. We're in the East Bay, but nobody ever said anything about Oakland being at risk, and it's not like you can see anything from up there--there's too much fog over the city anyway. Seemed kind of silly.

That said, I just saw some photos of the quake and tsunami in Japan, and holy cow, it's awful. Dana, don't look: [link]

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It's so easy to find someone to marry between chemo treatments.

Nods. Lots of men told me the baldness and inability to do much of anything was a HUGE turn on.

Happy birthday, Tommy!

Kathy, I'm glad the PTO is going to work out.

I'm saving myself for the perfect carcinoma.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Just saw pictures of the earthquake. Damn.

This one was worse than the one that hit Japan in the 1920's, right?
