"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Okay, so I posted about Lush. Feel free to distribute links and repost. I also emailed angry asian man and racebender.com. Who else should I talk to?

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

SUCCESS!

After 3 trips to the construction site at the middle school (1 by my dad, 2 by me), I got to talk to the foreman. At first he thought we wanted a ridiculous amount of fill so he was hesitant since he'll have to fill some of it back onsite when the time comes. However, when we got down to brass tacks he saw it was a very small amount of the ginormous pile on the construction site. So I get to pick up a pickup truck's worth on Monday and we can fill our raised beds without paying a ridonkulous amount of $$$ for potting soil.

I really hate going past "No Unauthorized People" signs so this was very hard for me to do and I almost didn't do it today. I'm glad I did and glad he said yes. Yay!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Nice job, Liese.

And go you, Spidra.

For my part, NSM on the mushrooms and potatoes. I mean, it's not bad, just not all it could be. I didn't clean the mushrooms well enough, and cooked everything at wrong temperatures or something. Eh. I mean, I'm eating it, but what a waste!

That's too bad, Jesse. I hate it when I get all excited about something I'm making and it doesn't turn out right.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's partly what I get for Cooking While Hungry.

What I get for Not Cooking While Hungry is that I just bought and inhaled a bag of Cheeto puffs. Oy.

I did a big grocery trip today, filed yet another insurance application, made a trip to the PO and then a little shopping at Jo-Ann's and BB&B. I got stuff to finish projects, so that is good. Maybe will do a project this weekend after housecleaning. Or maybe I start housecleaning tonight. possibilities.
