The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

WOOOOO

I hope so!

Another bedbug question--how many nights with no more bites have to go by before I can decide it's not bed bugs?

I'm up to two, but I may be cheating, because the bites are on my back, and I've had that covered both nights.

Our wings are not tired.

Fair enough. I won't tell G. on you.

I know G!

My shopvac works. Would've been nicer if I'd assembled it before I needed it. 6 and a smidge gallons of water removed from basement! And luckily, doesn't look like anything got wet that shouldn't. Well, the box with the shopvac got a little soggy, which I find amusing.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Oh sara, you are having a week from hell. I wish I could fix that for you.

Punishingly Intricate

holy crap, sara! got to love a shopvac, though!

I've been avoiding leaving work because I do not want to go out in this mess. But there will be venison stew and biscuits (and Bob!) at home. I will have to brave it!

Actually, I don't find the water that upsetting. When we get rains like this, it happens, so I was expecting it. It's nice to be able to clean it up rather than let it evaporate and remember where the puddles are. When it isn't rising through the foundation floor in the low spots (that usually happens after prolonged rains, not like this,) it comes in a couple places in the wall/floor seam in the porch basement room and winds its way into the main area.

One of these days, I'll turn my front yard into a giant french drain, which should take care of that issue.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Huh. We had possible rain in the forecast, and I forgot my umbrella and it still didn't rain! Good one, weather!

My car repair litany: lube & filter, replace clutch cable, power steering and brake fluid flush, replace right and left front axle shaft, right lower control arm assembly, replace rear brake soes, cylinders and rotate drums, replace front tires, alignment. WHEW.

And, uh, it drives so much more easily now. Which is kinda scary.

Um, yeah, that sounds like kind of a lot of things, Sara!

Also, did we know it's the anniversary of the premiere of Buffy? I learned that on Facebook trivia.
