"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's hidden next to the giant "CHA".

Yeah, that's where my mind went too.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

can you just tell them you have some plans tonight without mentioning what they are?

There is never a question about availability on this team. I may have to go to the ER a night early, if the squabbling teams can't get in line with each other. I hate to do that, because I peter out a day earlier. And I peter out early anyway.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would like to go to Ireland.

And I think in general having work things at midnight and then 7am is unreasonable, but I don't know anyone else would care about that?

And I am currently blowing off a meeting that I already had a pre-meeting for, in case someone calls me back about her emergency, not mine. Awesome.

Some smokers smell way more strongly of smoke than others.

Also yes, and I don't understand why this is.

I'm feeling quite hurt on behalf of Scotland and Wales. Sure, they're not their own nations, but they are their own countries (or, you know, the actual correct semantics), and perfectly lovely and deserving of visits.

Also Canterbury. For some reason, my father and I kept ending up in Canterbury.

Our wings are not tired

I've only been to Northern Ireland. One of these days I need to go back and see the rest of the island.

I would like to go to those places as well! There are many places I would like to go to.

Canterbury Cathedral was my favourite cathedral growing up.

When I go to the BBC News website I can click on news for each of the countries in the UK and Ireland. So Ireland usually has some scandal brewing. Scotland has gang killings with big knives. Wales usually has a bit about a new green grocer opening up.
