Hey, it's Friday? What are people doing for Halloween?
Grown up hween party tonight for which I STILL don't have a costume. Should I just wrap myself in the Canadian flag and be a "Sexy Canadian"??? EH??? I'm panicking here.
Saturday is down to the rally in DC and, possibly, lantern parade in evening.
Sunday is kid hween party. Will "Sexy Canadian" work for kids?? Will they even get it?
sigh
A friend of Bob's is coming into town for the rally otherwise, honestly, I think we'd be skipping it. We have WAY too much wedding prep stuff to do. It's kind of stressful.
I have been invited to a party on Saturday, but I don't have a costume, and am not a big fan of dressing up, so I am on the fence. The party is also at the house of someone I do not know...there are four people co-hosting it and I am friends with one of them. But I always have a good time at her parties, even when I really don't know anyone. On the fence I remain.
Otherwise, my plans are to sleep in. Try to find some alium bulbs. Plant garlic.
lisa, go as a BRIDEZILLA!!! hair halfway done, a million Brides magazines in hand, crazed look.
Ooh, yeah, I really need to plant garlic this weekend too. And I should be fertilizing the garden bed and stacking wood. But again, so much work this busy season I dunno if anything is going to get accomplished.
Sue, clearly your costume should be "on the fence". Construction paper cut like pieces of a white picket fence taped on your pants or a skirt. DONE!
Oh dear. This is funny if it's true: [link]
Apparently a student used Yahoo Answers to try to cheat on an assignment. Wackyness ensued!
Man, msbelle, you are good with the conceptual costumes! I've never been good with those. Loved your Old Man and the C costume.
You have seen the online equivalent of a unicorn: I got up at 6:30am this morning despite having gone to bed at 3am. After weeks of good intentions about turning my schedule around, I'm not playing today.
tommyrot, that is AWE. SOME.
I really hope that Yahoo Answers page is real. That is amazingly fantastic.
