There's this guy I've known for a while, mostly as a good friend of my friends and one of the patrons at the bar where hubby works. He's sarcastic and catty, but mostly pretty friendly. Turns out he's a big ol sweetie.
Exhibit 1)I posted a link to this [link] on hubby's wall asking if he would get it for me. This guy brought a copy he had hanging around up to the bar for hubby to give to me. I have always regretted not picking one up when I saw it ages ago in a bookstore.
Exhibit 2) He sent me this [link] on FB message, apologizing if it was inappropriate and saying he knew I would appreciate it on many levels.
He also promised that he and his friend would represent for me in NO for Mardi Gras this weekend. Love!

That...is amazing. Both the link (I read the whole thing and can't quite stop crying just yet) and the fact that he was perceptive and caring enough to send it to you and also wanting to not overstep any boundaries.
