These girls have the most beautiful dresses. And so do I -- how about that?

Now, it's high school classes, not little kids, so I seriously doubt hard feelings, but should I hand it out until it's gone or just not hand out any at all? I already gave them out to one class. I'm thinking I brought it, I might as well give it away?

if you have somethign for them to do to earn it (in my class it's read your writing aloud), then you can more fairly give it away based on earning it. Or give it out only if you have enough for a class period.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, a 3:30 am phone call makes me wake up in a panic, because the only time anyone calls me at the time is if someone has died! So then it is even harder getting back to sleep.

Exactly my problem. I didn't get up to answer, but then had to wait to see if there was a voicemail, which I would have gotten up for.

At least I finished a library book I need to return tomorrow?

Abomination!

(Sorry, Brooklyn reflexes. Ask one of the old-timers to tell you about the NYCistas in Panera on Saturday morning at the first F2F...)

Kat, nope, no new job, Just a new desk. IN AN OFFICE WITH A DOOR.

Yes, though the distinction between preschool and daycare is pretty fuzzy. The place he's at now is 2-6 year-olds with a preschool curriculum during the school year. He won't qualify for NYC public preK until next fall. (And even then we'll probably keep him in his current school because public preK is half-day here, and there's no kindergarten placement advantage for preK students unless they're at their zoned school, where they'd get in ANYWAY.)

Our head IT guy sounds *exactly* like Ricky Gervais. It's quite distracting.
