I missed breakfast this morning (in favor of doing my laundry instead, so I'd have something to wear to work), so I'm having a very early lunch in a few minutes. The cafeteria has italian sausage and peppers over pasta--I'll have them hold the pasta, but I might take the garlic breadstick and see if I can handle a bite or two.

I don't know about "making up," but partisan/ideological bias lasted long after that. The Chicago Tribune of the FDR era comes to mind.
