tomorrow morning I start my 24 hours of clear liquids only. I really should have planned better and gotten some thai food or made something yum. Instead I'll have a big salad, some homemade cornbread and some ice cream, I guess.
I expect to be GRUMPS by this time tomorrow.
msbelle, you have my sympathy I did that a few weeks ago, and I couldn't get enough food when it was all done.

sj - I kinda thought that would be the case. I stocked up on frozen dinners at the grocery today, assuming I would be starving and have no energy over the weekend.

I do have a mug of hot red wine which is surprisingly tasty. I didn't notice it was sitting on top of the stove when I turned the oven on to 400 degrees for an hour. Oops. It was either toss a 3/4 full bottle of a nice zinfandel or tell myself it's just like mulled.
And boy-howdy do I need it after today. Though after is not really the word since I'm still in the shit.
CJ made turkey chili tonight. Boy did a good job - could have used a bit more spices, but it is the first time he has done it completely on his own.
You know what would be good? Making sandwich cookies with these [link] and sweetened mascarpone (I got some on whim. I've never had it plain before. It's like the essence of butter and cream. Kinda divine on chile cheese bread.)
Taylor and I may be baking Saturday.
I actually had a banana at work.
And I finally watched the BBD on Fallon clips!! [link] I have to say I'm impressed -- all dancing around like that, and Ricky Bell can still sing!
omg a friend just posted on fb about some jackholes in Ohio who have called a fetus as a witness in a trial about abortion, something about saying the fetus has full rights when the first heartbeat is detected. NOT ENOUGH RAGE IN THE WORLD. I may spend the rest of the evening looking up stories about child abuses and neglect and posting them with the tag, let's try taking care of the ones already here.
