Uh, are we gonna fight, or is there just gonna be a monster sarcasm rally?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Why is tumblr down so much? It's a cute graphic by the Oatmeal, really it is. But I'm sick of seeing it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Victims of their own success?

I just had to tell someone no, while a higher-up kept saying maybe later. I kind of hate that.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Holli (or any other Abilify takers) - do you take it in the mornings or evenings? I have been taking it in the morning and the last two days I HAD to take a nap (versus just really wanting one).

I'm so glad my work has been great about all this. Yesterday I was going to work while getting my infusion but the wifi was iffy. I came home and expected to jump into work but after half an hour I HAD to get some sleep. Today has been better but not by much.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Say hello to the dogbrella

Well, this exists. It's the Dogbrella, a combo of a dog leash and an umbrella, and it is pretty amazing.

See, dogs just can't handle the rain! So in order to protect them from that dastardly water, you can just hold this ridiculous thing over your pooch. The attached chain will make sure they stay under its protective shield. And your other hand will presumably be free to hold an umbrella for yourself. Unless you need that hand to carry your doggie's treats, because it doesn't matter if you get wet as long as your precious pooch is taken care of.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

My Oz totally needs a dogbrella! He hates the rain and it leads to him absolutely refusing to go, getting back in and going in the house. He'd still have issues in the grass because he's a mini doxie and also hates water on his belly, but I can pick up poo off concrete, no problem!

I just had to tell someone no, while a higher-up kept saying maybe later. I kind of hate that.

I really fucking hate that. Don't undercut me!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

My cat is so finicky that she freaked out last night when walking across the desk, because I had just moved a glass of cold lemonade from a spot that she stepped on, and the coldness of the desktop made her withdraw her paw and then skirt around the area.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

We totally need a dogbrella. Darby can't stand being rained on. Or stepping in puddles, but that's a different challenge.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

My parents sometimes freak out about us kids, or act like they had a hard time with us, and I remind them that we all graduated college and are supporting ourselves, no one got arrested or has a drug habit...what more do they want??

Alas, my parents must go uncomforted. Speaking of which, I saw my dad on the news the other night. A rather awful case, a woman was charged with murder, she claimed self defence and that the guy was raping her. My dad found the evidence supported her statement and acquitted her; the news article was mostly about the difficulties she had in trying to get legal representation. (The lawyer who finally took on her case, pro bono I believe, is very well known in the ACT. Bec once applied for a job with him. My stepmother did work for him some time back.)

Yeah, usually that. In this case, mostly I felt bad about saying no, because I like the people and wish I could say yes! But no.
