Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sue, I just yelled it in my head, but I totally did.

Jennifer Hudson's face was a different color than her shoulders. I always find that disturbing.

That red dress on AH was lovely and the lipstick was lighter too.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Whoopi hosted it three times.

erin, they've had two movies, since I saw that they'd wrapped filming on the second a few weeks ago. Their publicity junket was bromantic, and there was a decent amount of RPS because of it.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

According to a quick search, other female Oscar hosts are: Thelma Ritter, Claudette Colbert, Celeste Holm, Rosalind Russell, Helen Hayes, Carol Burnett, Diana Ross, Shirley Maclaine, Goldie Hawn, Ellen Burstyn, Jane Fonda, and Liza Minnelli.

And Whoopi apparently hosted 4 times. I was so not paying attention.

I love Anne's new dress. The only outfit I didn't like was the third dress, and I kind of had a problem with the length of her tux pants. I would have preferred them a bit more mannish.

I liked the song before this one. I'm muting Gwynnie.

Because books.

If Adele and Amy Lee from Evanescence had a magical baby, it could be Florence Welch's voice.

Gwyneth looks like sort of like she's in pain when she sings.

so many of TJ's concoctions are made of love.

Speaking of love, i loved that Randy Newman asked where the mic was. Like the man can't find his mic in a blackout.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Yes, I love their blood orange soda.

How can someone who won an Oscar be so bad at reading from teleprompter. She sounds so stilted.

And there's something weird with her hairline. I'm not sure if it's the lace border of her wig or what.
