"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hee. Conflicting internet wisdom.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Also, I'm still looking for wedding shoes. Not open toed boots. Preferably sparkly silver. My ones I got are at the cobbler now getting stretched but I don't have high hopes for them fitting me. I have looked all through PiperLime and Zappos and Nordstroms and haven't found something. Anybody have any shoe search suggestions? (shoeggestions!)

I'd wear these [link] but I'm admitedly rediculous.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Tangentially, I am eating applesauce that has a "best by" date of 10/03/09. I didn't notice until after I opened it, but it tastes fine.

Those are pretty, bon bon, but I want to wear heels. Until it's time to change into my shiny silver chucks for dancing!

Those are ridic!! I'd totally wear them if I had prettier feet. Stupid genetics and ballet in my youth and running in my middle age.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I didn't notice until after I opened it, but it tastes fine.

But it would have been way better than fine last year! (I've wondered about "best by.")

Even not at it's best, applesauce is pretty good. I guess.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I would say anything not dairy is more a guideline than a rule on the "best buy" date.

But I'm a food risk taker.

My children are lucky to be alive today. Not a good listening day and they're gnawing on my last, raw nerve.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Theremin alert.

I'm not a risk taker, really, but I am an obsessive checker of Stilltasty.
