No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Is there a watch and post for the red carpet somewhere?

Where do you come from? Where do you go? What is your scene, baby? We just gotta know.

You're soaking in it.

OK, why is Kate Blanchett wearing a dress that looks like it's decorated with some sort of skin condition?

Because books.

Is she super tall or is Tim Gunn not so much?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Marisa Tomei's dress was lovely. I almost liked Cate's. I didn't mind the bubbliness. Just the yellow contrast near the neck.

I have an onerous task. I have a picture I just can't make work. Dammit.

Scarlett Johansson looks like a mess.

The Modern Family kid is adorable.

Cate's dress is...interesting. I think I'd hate it on anyone else.

Scarlett Johansson looks like a mess.

Her dress looked like it was kludged together out of two other dresses, either of which I might have liked better in the original.

I didn't mind the bubbliness. Just the yellow contrast near the neck.

I think it was the yellow, in conjunction with the bubbles, that made me think of odd skin issues.

Oooooh, I love Annette Bening's earrings!

I like the sparkly clutch with the sparkly dress.
