I'll be fine. I'll be your bounty, Jubal Early. And I'll just fade away.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

huh, I have yet to see open toed boots, but they don't sound like my thing.

My head feels loopy. I think I need a cup of coffee if I am going to get any more grading done today. And I need to get grading done.

I am making rose hip oil at the behest of my husband, who harvested them off the rose bushes. I am not sure what he plans on doing with it, but I like the idea of making soap with it.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I have yet to see open toed boots, but usually as soon as I say such a thing I step out of my office onto the quad and get assaulted with whatever fashion error we're talking about. I'm sure I'll see them in the next 47 minutes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cool? Weird? An abomination unto footwear?

There's a woman here at the office who wears them. With close-toed hose. No, I'm voting now.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I haven't seen them in the wild, only in pictures. I don't get them. Just, why?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

An abomination unto footwear?

THIS. Boots are supposed to have toes. Also, I don't care how often Haute Macabre posts images and links to different styles of them, THEY ARE NOT REMOTELY GOTH.

Punishingly Intricate

They just don't make any sense!!!

Also, I'm still looking for wedding shoes. Not open toed boots. Preferably sparkly silver. My ones I got are at the cobbler now getting stretched but I don't have high hopes for them fitting me. I have looked all through PiperLime and Zappos and Nordstroms and haven't found something. Anybody have any shoe search suggestions? (shoeggestions!)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

WTFF?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I wore sparkly silver ballet slippers from French Sole. Apparently that brand is recommended for weddings; I'm sure they're as good as any other ballet slipper. I still wear 'em, even though they're too big.

eta: probably these [link]

Also, possibly serial post, I want people's opinions. Does soda go bad? Bob claims some two-year-old cans in his office have probably gone off. I think that sounds early for soda to go bad. What do you all think?

If it's sealed and hasn't been exposed to extreme temperatures, I'd think it would be fine. Unless the cans are bulging or something.
