I just read a profile of the distinguished educator who as a young and idealistic guy wrote The Anarchist Cookbook -- which, by the way, he researched on a bunch of declassified government manuals and so on, i.e. publically available sources -- which since he sold the copyright he can't stop from being published.
Anyway, it sent me thinking that there really should be a "Non-Violent Protestor Cookbook" with lots of advice about setting up effective safe protests, how to train your demonstrators and all that.

And, Consuela, so sorry. I know from a friend's experience that it is possible to break a hip without a fall in certain circumstances. I'm glad to hear the ER is springing into action.
