The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Going back to one of my posts from yesterday, I'm watching last night's Raising Hope, and Maw Maw is riding a tandem bike by herself and is sitting in front, as is right and proper.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

That was a note-perfect Raising Hope. I almost didn't recognize Amy Sedaris. Her "seduction scene" with Garrett Dillahunt was a thing of painful beauty.

Ann, that's a ferret.

So I got to listen to a paranoid Christian conspiracy lady on my 40 min. train ride today.

This is why I carry an XM radio with plenty of recorded stuff on my commute. If I'd been there, she'd have been singing the top 40 from this week in 1969.

Paranoid Christian conspiracy lady or "May I" by Bill Deal and the Rhondells? The choice is obvious.

It really was!

(should we whitefont?)

Because books.

I watched Raising Hope, too! It's so gorgeously wrong and hysterical.

All the meteorologists out here are men, and not even cute ones. I'd rather have weatherboobs, frankly.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ya did spoil me, thanks.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Theo has it. The racks are astonishing, the sweaters skintight.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"Weatherboobs" makes me think of a topless woman standing outside the window. If her boobs are wet, it's raining. If her boobs are moving, it's very windy....

Oh, and crazy Christian conspiracy lady somehow figured into Pope John's evil plans. Also, Pope John was responsible for Pearl Harbor.

Because books.

tommy, was she talking to you? Or to herself?

I once sat next to a crazy woman on a NJ Transit train who had a very involved conversation with an invisible someone for about thirty minutes without pausing. She was actually arguing, too. It was fascinating.
