If every vampire who said he was at the crucifixion was actually there, it would have been like Woodstock.

And yet the bastards haven't given an actual dime to the citizens whose HOMES THEY FUCKING BLEW UP.

Seriously.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ahm, YES. Everyone knows, because I posted it here. Thanks for, you know, paying attention to ME.

Oh, er, sorry. I forget where I see things sometimes!

So I just had a lovely 3 hour dinner with 8 of my neighbors. We went to taco night at Clementine. NOM. Great food, good margaritas. Everyone was happy with their taco, salsa and booze choices. I also got a bite of a chocolate peanut butter cake and a chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting, and can say they were excellent, and I'm not a cake person. But really? The company was the best. P&R are moving, and will be missed a lot, but honestly? I kinda expect to stay in touch with them, even if only through FB. But I'll see them around, since they are keeping the house, just renting it out.

I love my neighborhood.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Guh. I just had the most amazing completely-made-up-and-improvised pasta dish EVER. Zucchini and onions and spinach and parmesan and cream and lemon and mmmmmm. Utter hazy food stupor. Hec = PASTA GENIUS.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Liese I will search and post when I find it. At hospital and on iPhone so not easily navigating NPR and their site. I only heard a snippet and it was about music and recording on the reservations. Second part of the series is tomorrow.

Art Crawl!!!

Hmmm, that pasta does sound NOM.

I ordered chicken shawarma and tabbouleh from our local middlesastern place.

Loki wanted out. So I let him out on the deck. He did his part to remove the snow, digging and digging like it was his life's mission... until his toes got wet and he bolted for the door.

Kinda made a mess, but I appreciate his enthusiasm.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

zenkitty- i get those from time to time. my mom called them "exploded taste buds" which is totally what it feels like to me - like a taste bud has gotten so swollen that it hurts (and i can see them when i look in the mirror.) No idea what actually causes it, so sorry for being totally no help at all but i get them. They hurt for days or sometimes a week or two, then go away.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

erin, that's exactly what it is! Glad to know it's not just me with the weird tongue-rot, anyway.

How does one even go about searching for something one doesn't know the name of?
