4 bags of leaves. That's on top of the one from earlier this week. Mine was basically a bag, and then the two vacant ones plus the little that was on my three neighbors' steps.

And there's an open house up the street, so I was able to play lookielou. They have the original green fixtures-even toilet. I like my lavendar.

Speaking of original fixtures, I saw a promo for the current season of This Old House, and they're doing a 30s (?) house in LA (Silverlake) that's all original, and it looks like they are pulling everything out, which makes me so sad! Although they are re-doing it in a similar style, I guess.

happy birthday jon. I'm going out shortly to do some yard work, we did a little walking today.

I think I am going to send Borders corprate HQ my card. they did succeed in driving the B& N in town out of business -- and two week later they closed . My nearest book store - half an hour away . i now will be doing most of my bookstore shopping on line.

I'm also writing my city. In a place of 170K+n people there are very few places for me to spend money. Target , Kohls ( for basics) , the grocery store, and some local restaurants. a few small ind pendent shops. of course, I guess I should be happy. I spend a lot less money on line because i don't impulse shop.

Bon Bon. NeilMed. All the benefits of the Neti. None of the time suck. So easy to use, even I finally managed to used it right. Unpleasant, but not that unpleasant once I started being careful not to do it fast, and followed their instructions on breathing properly. (Neilmed also makes a Neti. But use the non-neti squeeze bottle. MY ENT woman ways it is way better than Neti. And, as I said, easier and less unpleasant.)

I want to rearrange my living room, but then I need to completely unclutter and clear the floor. Then vacuum everything, move furniture from where it was and vacumm in those places. Then I can move the furniture where I think I want it and decide if the image in my head is workable. Then I can put as little as possible back.

Sounded easy in my mind, but the reality has me hanging on the couch surfing the net.

I got picture rail hooks last week and today I am hanging things in my room. Thus far I have hung up two strips of ribbon and hung 8 of my hats off them. I need at least three more strips of the ribbon to get all the hats done. I'd really like to get a few pictures up too.

Of course you do. We should get you a typesetter's case just for all your buttons, snaps and zippers.
