I have a little under an hour to decide if watching Under the Tuscan Sun will provide me with a welcome bit of escapism or result in me being disgruntled all day at work tomorrow.
Natter 67: Overriding Vetoes
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
This is what I used for my WX icon.
Oh, bless.
I just posted the album to Facebook. Matilda looked over my shoulder while we were going through the actual physical album and said, "Look, Mommy, Lilly's mommy gots a little Robin in her chest!"
Huh. I've totally forgotten what I used for my WX profile picture. Now it's gonna bug me.
I am taking the OkCupid plunge again. We'll see if anything comes of it.
eta: JZ, that is really, really cute.
I've gotten my last two swimsuits at costco. No, really. Speedo suits for $20. Not the most fantastic fit but at least they have crossed back options (i loathe u-backs) and the price couldn't be better. I remember blowing through 4 suits a year at over $70 a pop back in my training days. I don't know how my mom survived my Synchro habit.
I used a photo of me from my high school graduation ball. Which was actually a fairly recent photo when I started using it.
COWGIRL! [link]
Okay, weird. I actually remember that Cowgirl picture. So either Ms. Jesse posted outside of Buffy on TT and WX, or I lurked. Or a combo. From 95-97 or 98, I posted using my full name on TT (leftover from my Well days). After that I switched to javachik.
On WX, I used javachik and real name, since I actually hosted a forum there for my university.
Oh Tom, I remember the tricycle!
I am a baby pig.
Poquito!
Matilda's adorable.
In my head making crayons is like making tamales, it kinda sounds like fun, but after doing it once and realizing how cheap they are to buy, never again.
I'm not really making crayons (like with the grinding and the clay and the use of natural materials). I am just melting down all the old bits of restaurant crayons by color and pouring them into chocolate molds to make car shaped crayons for Grace and Noah's 4th birthday party.
