Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

36 weeks. Oh, it seems a lot when I write it like that.

It is a lot! Actually, that's exactly when Matilda arrived. Though I would recommend that your little one stay put for just a bit longer. He's got the coolest due date he could possibly hope for - he really ought to be trying for just exactly-on-time arrival.

It's so very, very good to see your pixels!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

36 weeks. Oh, it seems a lot when I write it like that.

Oh my! So soon!!

I just yelled at the bathtub: "Why are you dirty? When we shower, the dirt gets washed off and should go DOWN THE DRAIN!!!"

I am totally with you on this.

ita, there's an America's Test Kitchen Tumblr, and it just happens to be slow cooker week, so there's a few recipes there: [link]

Happy Birthday to Beverly! And Benno!

I hate putting things away, especially laundry. And mopping.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Holy cow, 36 weeks?? That's so close!

I find myself in an ever-surprised-and-amazed state of mind whenever I feel his presence, and tankfully that happens several times a day (I mean, that's the most unbelievable amazing breath-taking thing to have ever happen to me, ever, and it happens several times each day! How odd is that?)

This is so beautiful it almost makes me miss being pregnant. Almost.

I don't mind any "wet" household chores - dishes, bathroom, mopping, all fine. Dusting, I hate with a burning passion.

The status is NOT quo.

I especially hate putting away clothes. It's like filing. Which I also hate. Also not keen on putting up clean dishes.

Kat is me!

Nilly, I'm so happy for you! Yay!

And I've skipped about 1000 posts. What did I miss?

Please let it be noted I am not particularly good with keeping up with any household chores. On any given day, my house is a disaster area.

Our wings are not tired.

I love having a clean house way more than I hate doing housework. My least favorite is mopping, and the Wigglebutts make it necessary way more often than I like.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

36 weeks.

Wow! Nilly baby is almost here!

Just got back from a rainy day, stompy puddle outing with Matilda.

We found a backed up storm drain that flooded a street and sidewalk and she was very happy to get her caterpillar boots into that.

On the way back she surprised me with her botany.

Me: Look at those cactus plants. They have spikey little spines. So don't touch them.
Matilda: They're very pokey.
Me: Mmmhmmm. And they all belong to the same family of plants. They're succulents.
Matilda: Succulents have water in them.
Me: That's right!
Matilda: Sokka got water out of one.

So there you go - the educational power of television. Or at least Avatar.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Oh my goodness! Nilly baby is coming soon!

javachik, it is too bad you cannot attach a mop to the wigglebutts, and solve the problem!

I am bad at doing anything. I hate it all. Especially dishes, laundry and putting things away. Also, the litterbox.

Pix - Feb 19, 2011 11:19:20 am PST #23904 of 30001
The status is NOT quo.

I cleaned the litterboxes, poop-scooped the back yard, and then tackled the extremely onerous task of putting on rubber gloves to gather and dispose of the remains of a large, shredded dog bed, which was soaked through by rain. Blech.

You may note that all of that ranked higher than grading, which is what I should be doing right now. For me, grading is the ultimate Onerous Task.
