I like outside pets with thriving social lives. I'm not ready for a committed relationship.
I never understood people who insist they are cat people because dogs are so needy. Our cat would come inside and sit with us or on us. Our dogs...would come to us for food or if they wanted something to hump. Difference is, we could find the dogs when we wanted to play. Who the hell knows what the cat got up to in her spare time.
Do they need food, cleaning up after, or attention? Also, are there bodily fluids or any sort of odour involved?

Also, Grace has double ear infections. Sigh. No wonder she had a fever.
The cats sleep about seventeen hours a day on our bed/the sofa/the kids' bed, and then have noisy, thumping all over the place cat wars when we're ready to go to sleep, and/or come sleep on our feet.
Hey, does anyone here watch Nikita on the CW? I ask because (minor non-plot related spoiler) I wrote an episode of it that airs this Thursday. HA!

See, this is the indoor cat problem. I always know where she is because 90% of time she's all up in my face. And the dog knows various "go away" or "no" signals. The cat could give a shit about that, she wants what she wants, whether it's my food or my lap.
And again, I cannot say how much I hate the litter thing. Hate.
Outdoors are different. A cat who can head out and go about their business (and their business) is a whole 'nother thing.

ISTG, they can be so cute until the cleaning has to start. I can't even imagine full time.

Thanks guys! I've been incredibly superstitious about saying anything to anyone. (I've been on the show since November.) But yes! Thursday! It's a very... unique episode.
