That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

Because books.

I created a tumblr account, too, which I planned to use for book promotion. I ... can't actually remember what I called it, though, or my password.

Sophia, this chick also sounds like someone who might have a few social interaction problems, and maybe who has fix-it-itis given what she needs to do with her sibling(s). Which is not making excuses for her, I hope, but maybe if you can frame it that way in your head it would help?

Also, what everyone else said.

Sophia, your coworker is an awful, awful person. If it wouldn't (probably) cause you to suffer a headache, I would suggest liberally applying some really potent perfume (like, say, Poison) right before you got in the car with her.

I see we are of one (evil) mind about this, Jilli. I say load up on painkillers and bathe in so much of the stuff that the fumes fog her car windows!

Thank you so much! This actually helps me a lot- she was really so earnest in offering all kinds of help (not just the checklist, but also that she would drive me to the laundromat if I was just washing things out in the sink, or to get detergent if it is too heavy for the bus.)

And the thing is, if I did reek of cat pee or whatever, I would rather be taken aside and told about it by someone-- I just don't know what more I can do besides wear scented items, which basically cause horrific headaches and also skin rashes.

ALSO I AM LIKING THIS GOOD THINGS TUMBLR ALREADY!!!!!

and I have now had a couple of glasses of wine, so feeling better. (unless it is the wine which makes me smell?

I was thinking a bit about it "It Get's Better" videos which I love, and thinking-- sometimes it does not get better, and you are 37 and people are telling you that you are stinky!

I say you should wear one of those obnoxious car "air fresheners," [link] Sophia.

And have another glass of wine.

I'm thinking I'll just have to do it myself.

Hm. Well, I may be able to call in a favor, especially if it's just laying some pretty on a WP blog. I guess it depends on where things fall on wants versus needs.

...I just discovered that my phone is out. Since I have internet I guess it's nothing apocalyptic.

Allyson, I'm gonna put out a call, let me know if you want me to remove it.

Allyson- is there anything with Sam regarding teaching strategies/lesson plans? My BFF is completing her master's in Early Childhood Education, and I can ask her if maybe she could work something up (and use it as a project in her class) If there is already, I would love to share with her as she is student teaching this semester and may be able to incorporate something (and then maybe write a note praising it?

Always Anti-fascist!

I have a Tumblblog, but I did not create it...I just put Olbermann articles on it and click the widget. I took it over from my friend who ran ERT. It's called "TumblBlogging Olbermann" though, if you ever wonder what I do on Friday.
