It's Friday! What are people doing this weekend, and how many people have a three day weekend?

I have a zero-day weekend.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I have a three day weekend, but it`s kinda inconsequential as I have not had a week. I am feeling somewhat better today though. I wonder what it is about being sick that makes you so dumb? I hate that brain muzzy feeling. Anyway, I still have some other symptoms, but that seems to be gone. Maybe it was tied to the fever? It made me clumsy. I had two major drink dumping incidents, on which took out the tivo remote and one which took out my phone, Nook, laptop, my slippers and projector remote. Everything is back to par now, except I still have the projector remote drying. Oh, I broke my mug from our home church back in Kansas. Woes. But I have two others. And I bent the Nook cable flailing ineffectually at it to get it out of the way. But it`s fortunately a generic usb, so I have others.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I'll be working at the airport...again.

The insomnia fairy visited me last night so work tonight should be fun.

Presidents' Week?

Technically mid-winter break, but locally known as "ski week."

Ugh, we had an experimental "ski week" last year, it wasn't too awful for us because the kids were in middle/high school, but it was still a pain in the ass. The working parents with elementary school kids hated it. Thankfully it was only last year.

Both kids and my husband are off on Monday, but sadly I have to work. At least traffic will be light.

This weekend we were planning on taking out the last bits of personal stuff on the boat, in order to put it up for sale but it looks like it's gonna rain all weekend which will make that hard to do - it's a long walk up the dock and to the parking garage - we'll be soaked after the first load.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

No three-day weekend here. We don't have anything much planned, though at some point I think we'll get out to see The Illusionist (new movie by the director of The Triplets of Belleville ). Doing taxes and going through our wedding photos to decide which ones to get copies of.

Also, I want to finally figure out how to get my external hard drive to show up as the E drive again, and not as the F drive, as it's been doing lately. A small thing, but since I have iTunes pointed to the E drive for a ton of my music, it's actually really annoying.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

No three-day weekend, but since I work at home with the new version of my job, it's not a lot of difference.

Weekend: more cleaning and sorting at Dad's house, and more writing. Maybe I'll be zany and go to a thrift store on Sunday or something.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The tastiest fizzy thing so far is half carbonated water, half plum juice. I don't much like the syrups. But the fizzy watered down juice is delicious. Hopefully this will help with my Izze problem.

Why can't you fizz up anything other than water? I really want to.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You guys are funny with your fancy names for time off school. Here, next week is February Vacation, as is good and right.

I have Monday off, and plans to go skating tomorrow, and maybe a party Sunday.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Why can't you fizz up anything other than water? I really want to.

The other day I posted a link on how to fizz up fruit.
