And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

No big plans here. Karate on Saturday is the only thing scheduled.

I need to clear/organize the fridge and pantry along with the usual weekend cleaning. I also need to look in my files to see what I have regarding past blood test results to show the hematologist on Thursday. And if I get into my files, that means I'll likely be purging and reorganizing.

I do not have Monday off but CJ does. I just reminded KCD and he may keep CJ Sunday night. It seems there are so many weekends where CJ spends less than 24 hours with his dad.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Yup. It's not quite as bad as the proposed bill in Wisconsin, but it's pretty fucking bad.

Emmett has all of next week off.

Presidents' Week?

Well, there are A LOT OF PRESIDENTS. At least 17, or something like that. Maybe 90. I'm not real good with history.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, for the new cover, Amy!

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm taking Owen up to Polar Cub camp tomorrow morning for an overnight camp out with the Cub Scouts.

And Derby practice tonight and Sunday.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Emmett has all of next week off.

My schools in NY had a midwinter break like that -- VA never did, so it seemed great but completely insane when we moved up there. Still does, now that I think of it.

This weekend is atypically low-key, since most of our weekends are all about fencing and most of the fencers are off at the under-20 championships this weekend. Plans: brewing, garden, cranking on a bunch of work samples (assuming I can get the site I want to finish today out the door, which is currently depending on stuffs from the client. Le sigh.)

I have no idea if S has Monday off or not, actually. He just started a new job, so he possibly could!! I completely forgot it was a holiday weekend.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I've been looking at NYC school info all week (pre-K applications for the fall start in March) and the midwinter recess thing just seems custom designed to inconvenience working parents. (Or alternately, designed as a gift for ones who need to use up their rollover vacation days.)
