You're nice, and you're funny and you don't smoke, and okay, werewolf, but that's not all the time. I mean, three days out of the month, I'm not much fun to be around, either.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Boo, msbelle!

Boo, Cashmere!

Drinks all around.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm sorry msbelle. I could ask around. What are you looking for?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sorry to hear it, msbelle :(

Are you having both feet done at once? I didn't, so I could still be somewhat ambulatory, but if I'd had anyone to help me out, doing them both at once and getting it over with would have been better.

Both at once! I have some grownup sitters lined up (minus a few gaps) for three weeks. If I can fill the first week gap I think I should be able to wing it alone for a day or so later on.

Keep telling me these positive recovery stories! I'm hoping to be pit-worthy for a string of My Chem shows in May.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

When are you having it done? If soon, you should totally be ready to kick butt with both feet in May.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Boo for jobs that don't know the awesomeness that is msbelle.

Oh, Cash, that sucks. Having been through my own car woes acouple of months ago, my wallet is having sympathy pangs with yours.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Thanks all. In the scheme of things, not that big of a letdown. The hours were going to be a challenge and not flexible and the pay would be on the lowest end of what I want from a permanent job.

Good news is nothing is wrong with the cats according to the bloodwork. Not sure why Sylvester has been acting so odd for 2 weeks, and am not thrilled with the $300 bill, but at least there is nothing going on that would cost more money or require addressing end of cat-life issues.

March 1st!

Getting rail for the May shows involves sleeping out, waiting in line all day, and standing through two opening acts in addition to all the mosh pit madness which then ensues. Only time will tell, I think, if I'm in shape in time to do that.

There are two shows in the end of April as well, and I'm semi-resigning myself to handicapped seating for those. Fortunately I don't need to commit until day of.

oh msbelle, I'm really sorry.

Sedation has worn off. Now we're waiting to hear about repairs on K's car. The check engine light was just a tease (thank god!!) But the electrics are still wonky.

I am teaching Rime of the Ancient Mariner tomorrow, including the Iron Maiden version.
