And I myself will be wearing pink taffeta as chenille would not go with my complexion.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

That's not selfish. That's self-preservation and coping strategies, so I say GO YOU!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

You say selfish, I say good planning and taking care of yourself.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Vortex, I was just wanting to ask you about your pasta making equipment, if you wouldn't mind.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dinner made and I'm not dead! I cheated, because I used premade sauce, but that's my problem with cooking. I think shit's cheating that's not actually cheating. Everything does not have to be from scratch. It was tasty and quick and healthier or cheaper than the alternative.

Had couscous. I tried quinoa once, and didn't like it. Maybe I'll try it again.

Yay! Ok, Vortex, what do you use to knead and cut? And what do you like about it?

I'm finding that I don't actually use my little hand-crank machine as often as I consider making pasta because it is kind of awkward.

Immodium, flea. I pre-treat all the time when my stomach has been unruly.

Me too!

Jeezus Pete, I'm glad I came here after CJ got home safe. So scary! Kids!

I have a pasta making attachment for my new Kithchenaid mixer but I haven't worked up the nerve to make any yet. I need an afternoon where I have some time and no dinner expectations (like guests).

Ooh, tell me what you think of it when you try it, lisah! I look at those with longing but also fear that they will not be as miraculous as I want them to be.

I like my cats. I like that the maddest my cats make me is exasperation because they are shoving things off or bolting out the door or YOWLING endlessly upstairs or trying to bury a bowl or taking a protest dump on the floor or being pesty to the other cats.

I do not like the humans and their assholic, blame the victim, women-hating, advocating death to others, self hating behaviors.

I need to not click the links. And I need to pet my cats. Who are cute and furry and purring is nice.

I will! It seems like it could be easy? If I can figure out how to put all the parts together. I registered for the mixer and my aunts got it for me and then they went crazy buying accessories for it. We have a meat grinder too! Another food project for the household will be making sausage.

If the homemade pasta, homemade sausage works out? Heaven!
