"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Here Nora, this thread might help (ignore the asshat talking about community college).

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am not sure I am awesome at it, I have sold lots, but often it takes multiple tries. I need to sell more since I seem to be bleeding money. termites were $1200, insurance is $800 monthly, mac's meds are $200 monthly, the cats were just $300, getting scoped in 2.5 weeks is going to be over $1000.

shockingly I have been paralyzed into inaction all day. overwhelmed by stress.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

There is a mechanism where you can enter deposits that takes them from your "undeposited funds" and moves it into the account you want without duplication, but it`s not by entering the deposit directly into the general ledger. In fact I don`t do anything directly into the ledger. My version is nonprofit, so it might be in a slightly different place, but start looking under Banking. There might be a little setup you need to do but it should be pretty simple.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

insurance is $800 monthly, mac's meds are $200 monthly

That is so appalling. Ugh.

msbelle, that blows!

For a high school that's over 100 years old, my high school is very short on famous alumni - Traci Lords, Phil Hartman and Demi Moore according to Wikipedia, Squeaky Fromme attended for a short time too and Charles Lindbergh (there's a bust of him in the admin building still). My mom went to the same high school, and attended with both the Smothers Brothers (she hung out with Tommy mostly). Joe Montana's wife was in my class(of course, back then she was just a very popular single girl)

I attended college (and classes) with Steve Hillenburg. If I had known that his doodles might be worth something I never would have tossed my marine bio class notes. The fact that I knew the guy responsible for Spongebob, thrills my son to this day...

Because books.

Aw, msbelle, I'm so sorry. I know how that feels.

That is so appalling. Ugh.

Right? The whole healthcare thing is so huge. We haven't had any for ... a really long time, and knock wood we keep getting through without a big crisis.

But then there's stuff like schools here requiring a doctor's note after a certain cumulative number of absences. You know, if my kid has a stomach bug and threw up, he doesn't need a doctor. He needs a wastebasket and clear fluids and a day of sleep. Not to mention, I can't afford a hundred bucks to have a doctor tell me the same thing.

But then you get memos from the school nurse about not sending your kids to school if they're sniffly or coughing or throwing up, and I can't make the math work there. Aside from coming to the conclusion that they assume every parent can take their kid to the pediatrician for every sniffle.

Wow, I ranted. Sorry.
