In Summer 2005, Woodbridge Senior High School underwent extensive renovation throughout the building. The math pods were completely renovated, and work on the social studies pods began. Trailers to house students displaced by the renovation were parked near the school tennis courts. Classes were rotated out of their usual classrooms and into these trailers in two month cycles. The trailers were cold and wind-battered.

Students came back to school in the Fall of 2005 to find that they had no ceilings, as the tiles had been taken out for replacement, and since this revealed electrical wires and mechanical equipment, there were concerns about a detrimental effect on the learning environment. However, wiring and machinery was carefully secured and no injuries or ill health effects were reported. The only incidents of electrocution were the students' own faults.

Theo, when I had to drink the glucose goop after fasting when I had morning sickness, it took three appointments before I was able to keep it down. The third time, I used a straw as far back in my mouth as possible without triggering the gag reflex. Got it past most of the taste buds, and I was able to swallow and retain it. It might work for you with the barium stuff.

Also, I'm instantaneously allergic to menthol, so NSM with the vaporub anywhere near my nose. I had a really bad cold once while I smoked, and bummed a cigarette off someone. Didn't know it was menthol and was surprised to find myself spontaneously vomiting after the first puff. "Menthol?" "Yeah." "Warn a girl." No menthol coughdrops for me, thanks. And I look kinda sideways at creme de menthe.

I did graduate from high school with a really great sculptor and a musician, but they aren't really famous. I am actually pretty impressed, because we were a small rural school (less than 100 graduating class) , and also my BF in high school was considered both a better musician and a better visual artist than these two, and now she writes about sex after working in women's magazines! Which is awesome in it's own way!

My sister sent me an email the other day saying one of the McGill Comp Sci grads a few years before me was instrumental in either Gopher or Archie--I don't remember which one. That's kind of nifty, in an incredibly obscure way.
