I get that same nausea when I see Schnapps. Why did we ever think that was a good idea?
Oh man, it's my 25th hs reunion this year. Speaking of slightly nauseous making. What up, Time?? Why so fast?
But the VP is a major asshole, right?
Yes, but I think he had more power yesterday than he did today. This is from the statement he gave:
President Hosni Mubarak has decided to step down from the office of president of the republic and has charged the high council of the armed forces to administer the affairs of the country,
If I'm understanding correctly -- and flip a coin on that -- Egypt's constitution says that the VP takes over if the president is temporarily unable to serve. If the office is vacated there's a different scheme. Although it seems they're bypassing that as well by giving control to the army. The protests were about amending the constitution as well as getting rid of Murbarak, so that probably needs to happen before an election can take place.
Ben & Jerry's has a new Snickerdoodle flavor. It's utterly deadly. NOM.

For me it was one bottle of SoCo and a single watery diet coke to chase it. A friend and I polished off three quarters of that bottle in one night. At some point, my lips went numb. And that was the fun part.

Oh my GOD. Want.

According to the radio (MSNBC), the military went to Mubarak last night and told him it was over. As in, if he didn't step down, soldiers were going to start donning civilian clothes and join the protesters.
oh god hs soco
Already Jossed by history, but heh.
Hosni Mubarak is hated in Egypt, but reluctant to give up power. Meanwhile, the Republican Party is desperate for a credible presidential candidate. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Interesting - the news this morning was saying that the military had stated they were in support of Mubarak.
