Well, yes, my default setting is Bobby, but if we're talking about Repressing Like A Winchester, I'm Sam.

(I can also see why Jen says you are Sam. But you've already got the TALL, you lucky thing.)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hah. I'm so Dean it kills me. My sister is not un-Sam-like. Except she's short.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm currently negotiating with my sister to see which of her exes I can sleep with. It's a longer conversation than you'd imagine.

Sleep with or date? I mean, my sister hasn't done either with anyone in the last twenty years I would even want to know...

... you're not buying this, are you?

Oh, I totally think you'd love being able to reach the high shelf. Not worth ending the world though. We've had this conversation.

Being the Antichrist means you get to be tall. Unless you're the sort of Antichrist that Patrick Stump is. t /bandpires ref

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I completed much onerosity today! In spite of starting out by waking up early to let in the insulators then doing one too many yoga classes (would been fine if i'd just had a little snack in between, even some juice woulda kept me from being so shaky during the second class. Which, unfortunately, was a heated class. The combination of hunger and heat was not pleasant. I managed to stay conscious so that's a total win. Then i had lunch out because the insulators were working on the basement and attic, both accessed from the kitchen, so the kitchen REEKED to much to consider eating there. Then chiropractor, grocery shopping, and returning home to clean All The Things including the cats. Three loads of laundry (sheets, duvet cover, clothes) still in progress, but the cats are clean, fluffy, cranky, and enjoying the benefits of the new furnace.

The contractors were really good about cleaning up after themselves - my basement is cleaner than then they started! But even with dropcloths the main level floor suffered. I can usually clean the entire (815 sq') house with one swiffer and a dustbuster. Today: 6 swiffers and two emptyings of the dustbuster. Then i mopped with 4 washcloths. Blown insulation makes lots of dust, ya'll!

Yay!

I am packed for my trip and barring needing to take out the trash (probably in the morning after I empty the milk) or freaking out about unremembered things, I am ready.

Oh except I should program the dvr to watch less tv.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

CURRENT SEASON SUPERNATURAL SPOILER WARNING. Please to whitefont.

Sleep with or date?

Sleep with. Looking for practice nookie. I'm not interested in what she has to offer, sadly.

I just tore stuff apart looking for my earbuds. Finally found a spare pair. And went to stash them in the travel spot. Where, um, I found my earbuds. How practical of me.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hee, Cass. I hate stuff like that. I did that today, looking for the Nook charger. I left my office to find it, wandered through the living room, the studio, the media room, back to the sunroom, and the master bedroom, where I made some disparaging remarks about housekeeping in general and my tidiness particularly. Gave up. Came back to the office. Moved my papers to work with them, and there was the charger underneath the papers in the office where I'd started.

My sister has one ex that I would have been willing to sleep with. But they dated, she switched colleges to be with him, they got to the point of engaged, then decided their futures were in different directions and broke up. At which point my mom told me that I was not allowed to date him. I was, like, fourteen. I was all buh? She said that she'd always thought he was better suited to me than my sister (he was younger than her, older than me, a guitarist, total free spirit) , and now that they were broken up, I was not allowed to pursue him. I was like, wasn't going to, but now that you mention it, he is pretty hot.
