The VP is head of the inteligence servcies (can't remember what they're called), so yeah, kind of scary. Very strong US ties. But the position itself was just created in the last weeks and my understanding is that there is nothing that says he sucedes the president should he step down.
Frankly, ceding to the military would scare me less. So far anyway.

Trying to get back to writing project. Goal:500 words, but I would count it a decent day at half that.
