Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Here's what I dig about the iPod Touch: I hook it up to the car stereo, go to the video player, and can hit Play on a movie or TV show and listen to it. I find doing that with things I've already watched (The OC, for instance) to be very soothing. Seriously.

I do that with my iPod when I drive back home. It takes about 2 1/2 Buffys to drive from Dallas to Shreveport.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What is with this FX series Wilfred with Elijah Wood's soulful eyes? And the dog/not-dog?

Because books.

It looks like Harvey crossed with Donnie Darko.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I heard it was an Australian tv show, and the star of that show is playing the dog in the US version.

Art Crawl!!!

Really? That was such a weird looking show that I wasn't sure it wasn't some sort of a joke.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My strongly worded email of this morning seems to have had an effect.

Now I can get back to entering Supernatural characters into the database with a clear conscience. Next up, Meg Masters.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

For people who use an FM transmitter for their mp3 player, here's a Web site that tells you which frequencies are open and will be the most un-static-y: [link]

Obviously people in high-population-density cities are screwed, but I actually get really clear reception on mine.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Check out these fingernails: [link]

Cool concept, but so-so execution as nail art. Now I'm wanting to try it on a nail wheel, of course.

To do it right, she needs longer nails (much as I dislike them in general) or to change the proportions of the piece slightly.

You know, my week has been one long task of doom.
