No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

aren't pretty much all 2 syllable works in the english language trochees? We rarely move emphasis off the first syllable.

No. Because iambic, which is the dominant meter of the English language, not just poetry, would be extremely difficult. Though most participles ending in -ing and most adverbs ending in -ly are trochee.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Go, msbelle!

I have two black cats (one solid and one tuxedo) and am perfectly happy with them. I don't know what I'll wind up with for the next cat I get, though, as I'm always being given cats and they're black. If I actually chose for myself, I'm not sure if I might not just go for another color because black will have become passe.

Our wings are not tired.

And, in one fell swoop, java ensures we will never grow old together.

Hey now! You're going to grow old with your fancy new opera blog friends!!

Awesome, MsBelle! Is it for something nearby and cool?

information libertarian

We have one almost all black cat and one tuxedo, and in neither case did color factor at all in the decision to acquire the specific cat. For a while I did worry about our all-black kitty getting out on Halloween and falling victim to some nasty teenagers, but she's old and fat now so less likely to escape.
