Cocoa on observing nights drunk out on the catwalk, getting to join Dad for observing runs in sleepingbags on the observatory floor, but waking up after being carried down to the housing bunks, to hot orange Tang and cocoa at breakfast. Hurricane oil lamps for when you shut down the diesel generator.

Several years, we did easter up there. It wasn't the easter bunny, it was the easter cottontail rabbit, and there were plenty up there.
