I braved the store and survived. It was bustling, but the cashiers were working their buns off so the lines were almost better than usual.
Now that I'm home and the groceries are put away I should really jump back into the house cleaning. I don't wanna.
I'm waiting until after the game starts to go to the grocery store. I need ground lamb for a recipe and the store I went to yesterday didn't have any.
Teppy, that outfit rocked!
Yeah, I went to the supermarket earlier, and it was kind of a clusterfuck, but I walked right into an open checkout lane, so that was good.
Jilli, you want to be added to the yarn exchange list?
Quester, I suggest you sleep with him at least once. If he takes calls then it's OVER.
Jilli, you want to be added to the yarn exchange list?
Not right away, but yes, eventually. There's a whole attic full of synthetic fiber yarn. That we're not getting to for a while. And oh G-d, the tubs and tubs of good-quality yarn. Eeek.
(How difficult is it to learn how to knit? I'm assuming I don't have time for it, but I now have the pattern (and supplies!) for these stockings: [link] )
In other dream news (though not as interesting as Quester's) I bring you dialog between me and spooky dream creature (SPDC):
Me: Why me?
SPDC: Why not you? Who else?
Me: That is a very old joke.
SPDC: Older than you know. And the best two answers to that particular question that ever has or ever will exist.
sj, I know! Aren't they pretty? I love all the patterns from that company, but wow, I bet they are VERY FAR from my skill level with sticks & string.
Those are gorgeous.
And knitting is not hard! But you shouldn't ask me, because I'm still at the only knitting things what are rectangles stage.
