not your mom's socks.

Sitting on the all-veggie bench. I want roasted Brussels sprouts now.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

because of my new closet doors, I did some sewing today. I mended 3 pieces of clothing and I have done all the prep work to hem the curtains for the second window in my bedroom. My neck and shoulder are killing me though, so I am taking a break.

I love cruciferous vegetables, but I'm not that fond of cauliflower unless you roast it and stick it in a curry.

I'm watching Never Mind the Buzzcocks. In the space of 5 minutes they've somehow got me shipping Phill Jupitus and James Blunt. I don't even know how this happened.

Compassionately intolerant

I love that episode!

Right up there with the Dr. Who special.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Right? And the SO was at the grocery, but I couldn't very well text him and say that I needed brussels sprouts because my invisible internet friends were making me crave them!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yes! That would be awesome!

Okay, I probably could have.

But don't now, because he's on his way home. Sadface.

Okay, I probably could have.

You totally could have!

So, I was supposed to have a date tonight, but he got sick, but it's just as well because I am blech and cranky and tired. I could still use a drink.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I had roasted brussels sprouts for dinner last night, and lunch today! But now you all are making me sad that they are all gone. I also adore broccoli, but am lukewarm on cauliflower. I don't think I've had them roasted, though, which might be key, since that's how I came to love brussels sprouts, too.
