I'm pretty wide open, I think.
Me, too, I think. I'll check my calendar when I get to work.

I came here all ready to bitch about it being 14F outside this morning with easily 3 feet of snow still unmelted... and a car that won't start...
and um, realized that at least I have a warm house and plowed streets and the right clothes to walk to work in.
I was driving home yesterday on the interstate and it was slightly snowing. Suddenly, everyone was braking and whe my brakes didn't respond I pulled into the shoulder. It was so weird- I know how to drive in snow but my car wouldn't stop. It didn't swerve or anything like that from ice/slipping and the ABS/traction system didn't kick in. The car just wouldn't stop for about 100yds.
Well, I have a Prius and later I realized that maybe that is connected to my weird stopping. I already was talking about this on LJ but now I'm sort of freaked out to drive my car the 85 miles to court this morning and then back.
yikes everyone! be safe, and warm.
We were supposed to be watching one of mac's classmates today, but with the new snow one of the parents is staying home. I was looking forward to him having someone to play with.
Oh, boy, msbelle, that is a disappointment.
Liese, I'm glad you got to be safe and warm overnight.
I am at Hopkins getting some tests (to confirm what doc and I believe is nothing). It is super weird to be here, on one of our regular floors, but not for something related to the cancer. I tell you what, the cardiologist department is super organized with tickets and beepers and whatnot. I, on the other hand, am disorganized and slow and can't get anywhere on time this week. So frustrated with myself.
Stay safe and warm, everyone! I am glad my biggest issue of the morning was a too-hot shuttle van.
Schools are open today. Yay!!!
you lucky dog.
I am finally getting the second round of holiday cards out. Family got out before mid-January, but then things got buried.

I love this bit:
"This is a man with deep familiarity with Tale of Genji and The Pillow Book — works of Japanese literature that are thousands of years old — but who also owned an exhaustive videotape collection of seemingly every Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode," Dery says.
