Whew, my parents have gas (and thus heat) again. They figure it was out for several hours and the house dropped to 50, but nothing seems to have frozen. My mom was more worried about the 3 outside ferals they feed. They set up catbeds and a heat lamp for 'em. 2 were in the screened porch when I talked to her, but the skittery one hasn't been seen since last night. But she tends to go to ground.
Schools and institutions are closed again tomorrow, strictly for utility reasons. State is under emergency declaration.
Good job, msbelle!
I opened my garage door enough for any stray cats to get in and put some blankets in a box as well as a litter box out there. I also put food on the porch.
The neighborhood cat we had picked up thinking it was a stray the week of Christmas? Well, it was out in this frigid cold and still has no collar on. I hate its owners. She came in the garage for a bit, but wasn't there when I last checked.
Nice catneighbor!
I think Mister Kitty has started drooling heavily in his sleep. He had a major patch of dried spit on his muzzle and neck. And there is no barf anywhere. Ah the joys of geriatric pets.
Sure! Maybe this weekend?
Woo! I'm pretty wide open, I think.
msbelle, I am interested in those white curtains. How much are you asking, or or you looking for S&H?
I love that I live in a compound, like the Corleones or something.
My crazy son decided that we NEEDED Chinese food for dinner. As I was looking at our delivery menu's he declared that he was going to go out in the snow to get Panda. Ok, not my first choice for Chinese. He was so earnest about hunting and gathering food for us, I couldn't resist. We will see how he feels when he gets back.
Loki is stalking his rubber bouncy ball. It is the best toy ever, though I hope the neighbors can't hear it. Kinda noisy.
THAT is what I need to get Puppycat. A rubber bouncy ball. Who's got a quarter?
