On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Perkins, that's so nice! Yay, office.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Congrats, Perkins! It's nice to be appreciated.

RSI pain has been very bad today. Which also happens to be the one day this month the Natural Resources & Environmental Commission for this city meets. Still struggling to get the city to amend its laws/permit process to be less unfriendly to community gardens. I really don't feel like going tonight but a community garden is important to me. At least I'm able to borrow the car. I don't think I could physically take much more on the upright bike today.

I KNOW! Damn Allergies

Yeah, any candles I light have to be in a cat-free zone. Mine just aren't that bright or inclined to respect space in general.

I had to give all of my candles to Cass.

How is Tim Roth such a little sexy alpha male beast of SEX?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

That's great, Perkins!

And, wow, sarameg--46 laps in 43 minutes is awesome! After I'm allowed back in the pool after my surgery, by which time I should be able to fit back into one of my swimsuits, I'm going to work my way back up to 33 laps (a mile), and then concentrate on speeding up my pace. When I was last swimming regularly, I had those 33 laps down to 68 minutes, an improvement over the 90 minutes I started at.

Because books.

Wow, that's a really awesome thing for your office to do, Perkins. YAY for them, and for you!

That's so sweet, Perkins!

except the place was the Sous Kitchen, which I think is the place Megan Walker used to go a lot and really liked, so I was able to tell them that, and now I am all verklempt.

Yes, and Sous Kitchen is awesome! Yay for your office!

I loved going there, but, since you can't make your own anymore, I was thinking of trying their delivery next month.

For reference, on the November menu, I would particularly recommend the Panang beef curry and the chicken enchiladas. Note: I haven't tried it (although I plan to), but I believe their chicken pot pie is not really pot pie, but more the filling with biscuits on top. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Also, their side orders of mashed potatoes, cornbread, and scones are really good. As is their mac & cheese, but that doesn't seem to be on November's menu.
