Very convincing. Makes me completely want to put myself under government control. Please take me to where you can make me unconscious and naked.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I got my car dug out but the stupid thing isn't starting again. I'm going to have to wait until the weekend at this rate before I can call AAA because I've got work the next two days. SIGH

Frozen pot pies have scared me since I read this: [link]

Well, that's disturbing.

When I was in college I ate a hella lot of frozen pot pies: they were 3/$1. Now I look at the salt and calorie content and back away slowly.

Of course, I had shepherd's pie for dinner last night so I'm not exactly the exemplar of healthy eating. OTOH, it was in a pub, not a chain restaurant, but it was probably at least 8,000 calories between the meat & the mashed potatoes.

Art Crawl!!!

I think that there was (and possibly still is) a Marie Callendar in the western 'burbs (of Chicago).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's not just about pot pies. That's about the unsafeness of all frozen food.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

That's not just about pot pies. That's about the unsafeness of all frozen food.

Yeah, I know. But the pot pie association stuck in my brain.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

My onerous task for today was driving to work at the airport. The roads were ok, the airport parking lot was not. Honestly, the hardest part of the trip was walking from the employees' lot to the terminal.

People keep calling and asking me about flights tomorrow and Friday, like I can see into the future. I just tell them to call the airlines or check their websites.

The contrast of the snow covered cars was amazing. We have crazy wind right now. But our snow is old and rain sodden.

Loki does NOT like the wind. Totally freaks him out. Which is too bad, because he's being obnoxious and I thought a walk would help. No. He wanted IN.

Electromagnetic candy! - Stark

Not sure where else they may be now.

There's one next to Northgate Mall in north Seattle; I lived 3 blocks from it. 99% of the clientele were over 70. I usually bought pies to bring home and slowly consume.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

OKCupid sold out to Match.com.

Oh shit! Hope they don't start charging or become less quirky.

I went to a Marie Callender's up in Folsom. I recall it being pretty good.
