I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The system works.

Swouncing

Skipping, and thankfully just under the wire (board timezone) because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today was Anne W's birthday.

Happy last-hour-of-your-birthday and second-day-of-your-new-age, Anne! With lots of wishes for a great day (any day!) and a wonderful year!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What's that site where you make the fashion collages?

Edit: nevermind! It's Polyvore.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I have no energy today. At all.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am dead myself, Hil. Dead. I'm fiddling with emailing in working from home...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I am mad at Abu Dhabi (or at least at our client's office there).

Oh, all of a sudden you want your employees to be able to enter their own overtime, after we went through all that trouble to prohibit it? See see if I care. Wait, I'm being paid to care. Oh well.

Woke up this morning to a dusting of snow. We are supposed to get more today and tonight. Tomorrow's forecast? A high of 0. With wind chill? -28. I almost hope they call Tuesday as a snow/fricking-cold day.

I'm supposed to get my hair colored today - I hope the snow holds off long enough for me to safely drive there and back. Priorities.

This xkcd sorta' sums up my experience with cooking:

The ingredients rarely cost more than a reasonable restaurant meal, but then again, I live in LA.

Good god, I'm not supposed to have a headache this soon.

information libertarian

I feed a family of 4 on $100 a week in ingredients (and could do it on less), but would be hard-pressed to feed them for 2 days in restaurants for $100. Go team cooking!
