I have a pair of Speedo goggles, which ached until I got used to wearing them again. They do an excellent job keeping the water out of my eyes, which my first pair of goggles from a few years ago did not.
Has your face changed shape at all recently, erin? I know that some people's noses or chins can change even later in life. Maybe you're losing some weight in the face?
Grooming, go grooming!
I'm grooving on my polish. I knew it was a charcoal-purple duochrome, but I just glanced down at my hands and my nails were green! That was unexpected. (
Zoya Ki
for those of you playing along at home.)
Oh,
Ki
is the best. I love that color.
Then I always love the changey colors that look a little like an oil slick on my fingers.
my face hasn't really changed, but i did manage to partially dislocate that teeny little bone at the top of the bridge of the nose wearing new speedo googles a cuple weeks ago and nose is still unhappy from that. found some tyr goggles that don't press on that area at all. even though they look pretty much exactly the same.
Then I always love the changey colors that look a little like an oil slick on my fingers.
Yes, yes you do.
Hmmm, I've already got something like 4 layers of polish on my fingernails. (Black holographic glitter, purple jelly glitter, and then topcoat.) Tonight at bathtime, do I want to add a layer of pink glitter and more topcoat?
(My toes are now black with lots of pink glitter. I had apparently forgotten how much I like that look.)
I am eating dinner, which is the first thing I have cooked in a week: rotini mixed with spinach, mushrooms and shrimp sauteed in butter, white wine and balsamic, with garlic, red pepper and thyme, toped with flakes of parmesan.
It's very good.
Then I am going to grade for an hour, dye my hair, grade, shower, grade.
At 9 pm I am STOPPING anything related to school, and I am going to read my Marie Claire in bed, and soak myself in lotion.
I need to get a good pair of sneakers, as my old ones have worn out from my walking commute. Currently I'm getting by with my winter walking boots, which are insulated and surefooted, but a bit much for wearing indoors.
5 hours of yardwork. am goona be sore tomorrow.
