I need to, but given my vacation balances and schedule, I kinda don't want to use it to stay home and mope and planning anything makes me screamy.

I could take mental health days (sick day balance is ridiculous) and my bosses are pro-mental health days. But I'm so BUSY.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Do you get an actual weekend of not working, now?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Good lord, watching Off the Map. You do NOT get to carry a baby to term in the Peace Corps (not any more), much less would the Peace Corps make you stay in country until you're about to pop .

I'm not going to make it through many more episodes, especially when my ten-yo wilderness first aid certification and obsessive reading of "Where There is No Doctor" can poke holes in their medical treatment.

Yep. I CAN'T work because they're shutting off the power to repair the UPS. Which means bringing everything up Monday.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

On quotes: My sister and brother and I can crack each other up quoting stuff that was our own made up slang from the year we were all in Community College together.

This same sister tries as hard as she can to earworm me at every opportunity. I don't talk that much so I can't be sure what I'm quoting the most, but I recognize almost everything that has been quoted here.

Well, I hope that much of a break helps some, sara.

I continue to be very pleased with my latest batch of challah. Nom.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hooray! I was just thinking I was a little hungry, and then I remembered I just made zucchini bread! And I did squeeze out the thawed shreds, and it did turn out great.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have acquired clementines. And I got pressure-sold into a book for my sister when I went in to cross-ship my Nook. God damn it. It was supposed to be an expense-free venture. But the guy mentioned they were making a movie of the book and filming on location in Jamaica, so I got a signed copy for my sister.

Also, I feel so much outpouring of sympathy for authors shilling their work because I know how much shit they have to do, so I'm automatically that much more of a sap.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And I tried to do the neti pot, but could only go in one direction. Ugh.

I hope people have relaxing weekends, as needed. I need to have a stimulating weekend, because now I'm BORED.
